The Venue
The 2009 Group Travel Awards presentation evening was held on Friday 12th June 2009 at the four star Tower hotel beside Tower Bridge. Lying beside the river, the hotel affords stunning views of Tower Bridge and the river Thames along it's main frontage and over St Katharine's Dock on one side, and the Tower of London on the other. The function suites have recently been refurbished and now offer a fine location for the 2009 Group Travel Awards.

How to get there
You may find it easier to travel by public transport to the venue than by car. The nearest Underground station is Tower Hill onthe District and Circle lines. Exit the station via the entrance on the left, go down steps and through the subway. Turn left out of the subway, walking past the Tower of London. Take the subway under the next road and then follow signs for The Tower.
If you arrive by car, the hotel is just oustide the boundary of the London Congestion Charge. Parking costs £3 per hour up to £20 for 24 hours.
