The Group Travel Awards
Welcome to the Group Travel Awards - the annual celebration of the very best suppliers to the group travel industry. Each year the group travel organiser readers of Group Travel Organiser magazine are asked to vote for who they think are the best suppliers in more than 20 categories. From the pre-visit information and transport to get the group there to where groups stay and what they visit when they get there, all aspects of putting together group trips are covered. Voting for the 2010 awards has been completed, and the short list was published in the March 2010 issue of Group Travel Organiser magazine. The finalists will all be notified.
The results are announced as part of gala evening of entertainment held annually in London in June, regularly attended by over 400 key members of the travel trade. To retain an air of anticipation on the night, winners are not notified before the event and will not know they have won until the golden envelope is opened on the stage.
The 2010 Group Travel Awards were presented on Friday 11th June 2010 at the five star London Hilton, beside Hyde Park. You can find more details about the venue here.
