The Group Travel Awards
Welcome to the Group Travel Awards - the annual celebration of the very best suppliers to the group travel industry. Each year the group travel organiser readers of Group Travel Organiser magazine are asked to vote for who they think are the best suppliers in more than 20 categories. From the pre-visit information and transport to get the group there to where groups stay and what they visit when they get there, all aspects of putting together group trips are covered. The 2009 Group Travel Awards were presented on Friday 12th June. Voting for the 2010 awards will begin at the end of the year. A list of finalists will be published in the March 2010 issue of Group Travel Organiser magazine and all the finalists will be notified.
The results are announced as part of gala evening of entertainment held
annually in London in June, regularly attended by over 400 key members of
the travel trade. To retain an air of anticaption on the night, winners
are not notified before the event and will not know they have won until
the golden envelope is opened on the stage.
The 2009 Group Travel Awards were presented on Friday
